Welcome and Paperwork

Chiropractors in Anchorage office

When you enter our modern and comfortable Anchorage chiropractic office, you will be warmly greeted and asked to sign in. You will be given some brief paperwork to fill out, if you have not already downloaded the paperwork from our website, and if insurance is available a copy of your insurance card and ID will be made.

Your First Meeting with the Doctor

You will soon be escorted to the examination room where you will meet Anchorage Chiropractor, Dr. John Pairmore and a detailed case history will be taken. Dr. John will then perform a comprehensive examination to discover the cause of your health problem. The examination will include chiropractic tests and high tech nervous system scans.

Dr. John will use the Insight Subluxation Station to perform a thermography scan to evaluate the spine for inflammation and a Surface EMG scan to evaluate the nerve system for problem areas. Measurements of range of motion will be performed and the Pulse Wave Profiler will be used to determine if your nerve system is adapting properly to your environment. A scan of the arches in your feet will be performed to determine if they are in balance. Full spine x-rays will then be taken to evaluate for any biomechanical weaknesses in the spinal column.

What happens next?

After the doctor has taken all the required tests and conducted his examination, you will be escorted to the front desk to schedule your next appointment to review your test results. The goal is to use these reports to accurately diagnose your condition and formulate a workable treatment plan that will not only provide relief for your symptoms but resolve the underlying issue that caused the discomfort in the first place. The entire first visit will take approximately 45 to 60 minutes.
