Your First Visit to Our Anchorage Practice

Full spine x-rays will be taken.

Welcome to the finest chiropractic office in the state of Alaska!

Our office is conveniently located in the O’Malley Square Building on Old Seward Hwy with plenty of free parking.

When you enter our modern and comfortable Anchorage office, you will be warmly greeted and asked to sign in.  You will be given some brief paperwork to fill out and if insurance is available a copy of your insurance card will be made.

You will soon be escorted to the exam room where you will meet Dr. John Pairmore and a detailed case history will be taken.  Dr. John will then perform a comprehensive examination to discover the cause of your health problem.  The examination will include chiropractic tests and high tech nervous system scans.  Dr. John will use the Insight Subluxation Station to perform a thermography scan to evaluate the spine for inflammation and a Surface EMG scan to evaluate the nerve system for problem areas. Measurements of range of motion and spinal sensitivity will be performed.  A Pulse Wave Profiler will be used to determine if your nerve system is adapting properly to your environment.  Full spine x-rays will be taken to evaluate for any biomechanical weaknesses in the spinal column.

You will then be escorted to the front desk to schedule an appointment to review our findings.  The entire first visit will take approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

Dr. John Asks some important questions of interest to Anchorage residents - Chiropractor Anchorage Dr. John Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
